04 — Before the session
Tell us about your health
Before the session, mention injuries, recent surgery, health conditions, allergies and anything a clinician has advised you to avoid.
Massage may help with relaxation and everyday muscle tension. It is not a substitute for medical care. If you have a health condition, are pregnant or have severe, persistent or unexplained pain, ask a clinician whether massage is appropriate before booking.

05 — In the room
Your comfort during a massage
Let your therapist know if the pressure is too firm or too light. Ask them to avoid an area or change their approach if you're uncomfortable.
Ask what to wear and how draping works before you begin. For foot massage, you sit in a reclining chair and remove your shoes and socks.
